Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As an official for the Space and Defense Department, Kristin Fisher covers all aspects of space including NASA to the newly formed Space Force as well as commercial space businesses and space tourism. Kristin's parents are both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space, and she has since worked as an White House reporter for FOX News that covers the both the Biden and Trump administrations regarding space-related issues. Kristin also covered presidential impeachment proceedings, the 2020 Presidential campaign and the efforts of two administrations in order to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. Kristin traveled extensively, both with the president and vice-president. The reporter even took a secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Kristin was a local television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., where she earned an Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter prior to joining CBS in 2015. Kristin as a skilled filmmaker, founded Field Mouse Films, a business that specialises in documentary style films, for clients such as Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned a bachelors of Science in journalism from Boston University. She and her husband reside at Washington, D.C., and has a three-year old daughter.
